Review: Top Skill Players B2C AA Game 8th Grade
Now that the dust has settled and the B2C staff has had time to go through the film and evaluate the players performances. Here are the top performances by linemen from the B2C All American Game.
George Jackson
Big Tackle has a chance to be a really good players. On offense he was the lead block on Del Rio TD run. On defense he was the massive clog in the A gap that changed the line of scrimmage so that his team could win the game.
Fuches Lewis
Very good player. He was all over the field. Plays the game with a high motor on every play.
Jacobie Baugh
Had an outstanding game on defense and was the runner up for Defensive Player of the game. Even was able to force a fumble and recover it.
Chris Bing
Very solid lineman who uses his hands and feet very well
Jacob Smith
Big G/T that is getting better at moving his feet. He is country strong and when he gets his hands on you he will clear out everything
Matt Baker
When he makes up his mind to “GO” then he is unstoppable. Had another big hit in this game this year after following up his MVP performance last year
Zavier Carter
The best athlete playing on the defensive line in the state. Very similar to Derrick McLendon although his is thinner than him.
Demarius Jackson
Simply does his job and does it well. Asked to take on multiple blockers and he does that. Ask to change the line of scrimmage and he does that. Has a great motor, his work ethic on the field helps him get a lot of plays.
Byron Green
This guy is a nightmare, only knows one speed and thats full speed. Don’t be shocked to see him start to get on everybody radar within these next couple of months.
Triox Marshall/Jake Puntman
Both players started at the center position and were key parts of the offense. Triox and Jake didn’t miss any assignments all game long and they steadied the offensive lines on both teams.
