Review: Top Skill Players B2C AA Game 8th Grade

Now that the dust has settled and the B2C staff has had time to go through the film and evaluate the players performances.  Here are the top performances by skill players from the B2C All American Game.

Cody Brown

Offensively he was productive, defensively he was a nightmare.  Played both sides of the ball like an All American.  Was even able to contribute on special teams.

Jayden Thomas

Has “special” written all over him.  Made a beautiful catch on a slant that was highlight worthy for most but routine to him.  Defensively he was very productive.

Justin Johnson

Ran the ball well when asked.  Blocked extremely well at the lead back position.  Defensively he was outstanding.  Batting multiple balls, including one that led to an interception.

Corey Kiner

Kiner put on a show offensively, with almost 100 yards rushing and a play where he leaped over a would be tackler which brought everybody in the stands to their feet it was clear to see that he was the offensive player of the game for Team Storm.

Carlos Del Rio

The offensive MVP for Team Nitro was very good all game long.  On the TD pass he showed that he has the cannon to get it done as fired an out route just pass the defenders hands in Jamal Haynes grips so he could walk into the end zone for the TD.  His second TD of the game came on a called QB run, Del Rio followed his blocks and finished with a TD

Bobby Sims

Played great at corner.  He broke up three passes and had an interception on the day.

Jamal Haynes

Jamal is so good that you almost take his talents for granted because he shows it every time he is on the field.  He ran the ball well and caught a TD pass.

Jared Nedd

Was great at blocking, had two runs that went over 50 yards total but one was called back.  Also had an interception.

Austin Eldred

Very good DB, was in the right place all game long.  Stayed around the ball, also had an interception on the day.

Armond Anderson

Had a interception, was a ball hawk at safety and came down in the box to make some plays.  Very good size.  Has the ability to be special.

Kamar Wilcoxson

Got hurt early but made his impact felt as he had a tackle for a loss and a pass breakup.  The #1 player in 2021 did not disappoint when he was on the field.

Harrison Allen/Dacari Collins

Both players played extremely well.  Harrison Allen was able to contribute on offense and he played very well on defense.  Dacari Collins, is a prospect, a special prospect.
