With B2C Championship Series a couple of months away the picture is getting clearer for the 8th Grade division.  Brookwood and Mill Creek are about to battle in a couple of weeks and it will be a good one.  A sleeper team to look out for is Parkview, they have offense that can score on anybody.  This might be Coach Nate best job on the sidelines since he started coaching the 8th grade team.  Stephenson has to just win out and they are a lock.  Quintero Lawson the beast of a running back from Stephenson has a chance to walk away with the Turman Award for the best overall player in youth football if he continues to play at high level.  North Cobb is loaded and they have arguably the best signal caller in the country in Malachi Singleton who is up for the Turman Award as well.  Cambridge will make a case for their bid as last weekend they put on a show against a very well coached Alpharetta team who features Justice Hayes who is playing lights out at RB.  Jack Marlow from Cambridge was able to have the most impact on the game as he had touchdowns running, passing and also caught a pass to convert the two point.  Fort and Rothchild in Columbus have been rivals for years and now with both teams being undefeated this will be a great game.  The two wild card teams that might shake up everything is Locust Grove and Crawford Long.  Locust Grove has Mike “PoPo” Aguirre who is a monster on both sides of the ball and the leading candidate for LB of the Year.  Crawford Long who is currently undefeated in APS has Ricky Lee, he can absolutely get it done.  The best matchup of the year will be Ricky Lee CB (Long) vs Terrance Love WR/ATH (Renaissance) if this two teams meet up.  Two players that will and should be All Americans when their time comes.
