There are two teams sneaking into the conversation for the Frank Ski Bowl and that is the Jonesboro Falcons and possibly the McEachern Indians. Jonesboro has an outside chance to make it into the Youth Bowl from their league. McEachern on the other hand is the #1 ranked team in the state in the 7th Grade division and they have been dominating teams all year long. The Youth Bowl doesn’t select traditional grade based teams but if everything checks out for the Indians and they accept the bid its very possible McEachern will be in the Youth Bowl. The Atlanta Vikings are looking good and not just regular good, they look like one of the best teams Coach Tim has ever coached. Every week they are getting better and better and now some voters are starting to lean to the Atlanta Vikings side over Central Dekalb for the #1 ranking in the state. East Point is still the sleeper team and with their players its possible they can have a great run in the Youth Bowl. East Metro has amazingly kept themselves in the conversation but they will eventually have to beat a very good Baldwin County team who has been on the brink of making the Youth Bowl every year. The GFL Playoffs are going to be something to watch as you have two Mt. View teams that can make a good run at it. Defending champs Brookwood is very good and have plans on repeating, then you have a one loss Buford NE team that can play with any of those teams in the GFL.
